USDT and USDC on WordPress: WooCommerce and EDD setup
Stablecoin checkout should update the store's native order flow. UUGate provides WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) plugins. Choose WooCommerce for its checkout or EDD for digital-product orders; a payment button alone does not keep orders synchronized.
Check the environment
The current plugins require PHP 8.1+, cURL, HTTPS and persistent order storage. Use the installation instructions. Native orders and callbacks have been validated for specific WooCommerce/EDD environments. Your versions, networks, public deployment and checkout mode still require acceptance testing; the complete Checkout Blocks browser flow is not universally verified.
Protect configuration and order files
Copy config.example.php outside the public web directory. Set merchant_uid, api_key and a supported asset. Point UUGATE_CONFIG_FILE to that file and configure a persistent PHP-writable state_dir, not a temporary or public upload directory. Use different store_id values for stores and test environments. Back up both the database and order directory.
Enable the payment method
- WooCommerce: upload and activate the ZIP, then enable UUGate under Settings → Payments. The plugin supplies the store's
?wc-api=uugatecallback. - EDD: upload and activate its plugin, then enable UUGate in payment settings. Its listener is
?edd-listener=uugate. - Select TRC20-USDT, BEP20-USDT, BEP20-USDC or SPL-USDC and verify the displayed payment network.
USD-denominated stores must explicitly opt into usd_at_par=true. This is the merchant's equal-value pricing policy, not a live exchange rate or fiat conversion. Other fiat currencies are rejected.
Validate native order completion
A browser return must not release goods or downloads. The plugin verifies the notification, order and amount before updating the native payment state. Test a normal payment and a repeated notification: there should be one payment record. Unpaid orders must not unlock paid content. See the callback protocol.
Recovery and limits
After uncertain creation or interrupted store writes, reconcile platform and native orders using the installation guide. Do not blindly recreate payments or replay partially applied operations. The plugins do not provide automatic refunds or recurring debits; EDD recurring subscriptions are unsupported. Custom workflows can use the PHP / Laravel SDK with the documented USDT and USDC networks.
WHMCS USDT payments: test adapter and invoice checks
WHMCS USDT payments use the existing 0.1.0 test adapter to provide links for unpaid invoices. It is not a WordPress plugin. Full platform-version compatibility has not been tested, and automatic renewal debits are unsupported. See installation instructions, including the test-package entry.
Enable UUGate in WHMCS payment gateways and configure server-side credentials and persistent order storage as instructed. The callback path is /modules/gateways/callback/uugate.php, generated from the WHMCS system URL.
The callback checks the invoice's current unpaid balance. Partial payment, cancellation or a gateway change during payment requires manual review, not duplicate credit. Validate link creation, payment, repeated callbacks and invoice changes in your own platform; simulated gateway tests are not production compatibility verification.
